Why do you want your big day captured on video & why did you choose Green Biscuit?
A wedding video is very important to Sarah who used to be a videographer herself! (not anywhere near the level that you are at!) She did media and performance at uni and enjoyed camera operating and has even filmed some weddings of friends and family. (The marryoke of her sisters wedding is a particular favourite) Every time we watch one of your videos we well up and you are exactly the kind of videographer we want. We love that you are un-intrusive yet manage to capture all of the really important moments. You create a real life film of the day and we can’t wait to see what it looks like 🙂
A bit about Sarah + Sam
Samuel is a Technical Services Engineer for Jet 2 and is a massive plane nerd! Sarah is a Teacher. We love spending time with our family and friends, that is really important to us. We like to go for walks or bike rides in the summer.
How did you both meet? How did the proposal go!?
We met at a gym (David Lloyd) in Cheadle, Stockport. We were friends first and then discovered we like each other on a works night out. It wasn’t long before we lived together and we have been together for 6 1/2 years. The proposal was very romantic. Sam’s birthday was coming up and he had been hinting that he wanted a surprise party. Sam’s mum suggested that we threw him a party and she started to organise it as Sarah was busy with work. The party came around and everyone was at the door ready to say surprise. Quilly opened the door and Sam was down on one knee. He had orchestrated the whole thing with help from Quilly and Sarah was none the wiser. We had then had an engagement party immediately with all our family and friends.
Why did you choose the venue?
We are in love with all things country. We went to see the venue and we fell in love immediately. They are the friendliest staff we have ever met and go above and beyond to make you feel special. And also … The View! Looking at your videos, you have been before so you will know what we mean. It truly is spectacular.
What experience do you hope your guests have on the big day?
We want our guests to feel relaxed and have a really enjoyable, fun day. We are very laid back and we want the day to feel like that as well.
