In the heart of Mayfair, London, Yan and Dan sealed their vows on the hottest day recorded in the UK, surrounded by the timeless elegance of Claridge’s. The iconic venue set the stage for a day that unfolded with sophistication and an unexpected touch of artistic magic.
As a primarily indoor venue, Claridge’s prompted us to explore the surrounding streets for couple shots on this scorching day. The elegance of the day was matched by the incredible artistry of Stephanie Struth, who painted a live picture of the couple during the ceremony – a unique touch that added enchantment to the celebration. The florals, crafted by McQueens Flowers, turned Claridge’s into a blooming wonderland.
Choosing me as their wedding videographer was inspired by the cinematic feel and attention to detail in my previous work. Yan and Dan appreciated the subtle moments captured, like a rainy sky or a plane flying over a field, reminding them of life’s continuity even on their special day.
Claridge’s, with its history, tradition, and romantic event rooms, was the perfect choice for a classic and timeless wedding – a theme that resonates with the couple’s vision. They wanted the focus to be on the pure and raw expressions of happiness, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Yan and Dan’s concern about missing details on the day due to nerves drove the decision to have a wedding video. They recognised the importance of reliving those precious moments and savouring the beauty that surrounded them.
Yan & Dan, here’s to a lifetime of joy and happiness captured forever on film.
“After having viewed some of your past work on the website, we just knew you were the one. We love the cinematic feel of the videos you put together and the little details you captured on wedding days such as the rainy sky, plane flying over a field etc. All the little things which reminds us life goes on, even on the biggest day of our lives it is just another day for everyone else. It really puts everything into perspective and also reminds us how small we are in the world yet how lucky we are to meet and have this life together.”
