Why do you want your big day captured on video & why did you choose Green Biscuit?
We wanted a wedding video as we’re convinced that it captures so much more than photographs can including the energy and emotion of the day. Having our family and friends on film is also something that I think we will cherish for a long time. We picked you because of the style of your films, we absolutely love them
A bit about Chloe + Andrew
I am a corporate M&A solicitor and Andrew is an IT manager – work takes up a lot of our time in the week so we try and keep things simple and easy at the weekend. We like getting out in the open when the weather is good, walking or cycling in the Peak District. We try and keep relatively fit and active and enjoy going to the gym together but coupling that with a large and lazy breakfast/brunch at home is a must!
The Proposal
We met as teenagers and have been together since I was 16 (I’m 28 now) so basically forever! Andrew did really well on the proposal to be fair as it honestly came as a complete surprise (which if you knew me you’d know would be almost impossible) but he did it on holiday in Mexico in 2015. We’d gone scuba diving and he proposed underwater on the sea bed with laminated cards that he’d made at home! We’re both big foodies and enjoy a bottle of wine (or two) so like to try and keep things balanced with exercise too!
Why did you choose the venue?
We fell in love with the look and feel of Middleton Lodge, it’s just stunning and we wanted our wedding to be beautiful and romantic but in a relatively relaxed and informal setting. We want our guests to feel like Middleton Lodge is their home for the day and for the evening reception to have a house party – type vibe.
What experience do you hope your guests have on the big day?
We’re hoping that our guests feel completely relaxed on the day with Middleton Lodge as a bit of a home from home allowing them to come and go as they please. We’re hoping that they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some good food and drink in good company and hopefully with some good weather!
