An Emotional Wedding at Rudding Park

Why do you want your big day captured on video & why did you choose Green Biscuit?
Wedding videos capture so much more than just a still picture can. You can re-live moments again and again. We chose Green Biscuit studio after finding you on a wedding awards website. We watched some of your previous videos and fell in love with the style in which you capture and edit them. You capture not just the day but the emotion which can get lost in photographs and other wedding videos.
A bit about Josh + Amy (in their own words)
We enjoy spending our free time indulging in our hobbies. Josh is a gamer and enjoys playing and having a laugh with his mates online. He always likes a good discussion about films and up coming releases. Amy is very creative and always has a new project on the go, usually before she has finished the project before; arts/crafts/sewing. We love to go on holidays and love planning our next adventure together. We have a scratch map framed on the wall which we aim to have as much scratched off before we are thirty (we have a long way to go!). Josh takes his go pro everywhere on our holidays and creates a little film of each adventure we go on. We like our food and enjoy a good meal out and are not afraid to splash out. Life is not about slowing down.

The Proposal
We met in a bar in Horsforth, or rather Josh spotted Amy leaving the bar with some people he knew and had to find out who she was. We officially met on Facebook and finally after a couple of weeks we decided to meet on a night out, with our friends for comfort. after a few nervous glances and smiles at each other we plucked up the courage to go for a drink on our own, we clicked instantly and now here we are today. We had our next adventure planned to China. This was a big one! two weeks, four destinations and josh had a big plan which he had been sat on for 5 months. He carried the ring through Beijing, Xian and then Yangshou waiting for the right moment. The first full day in Yangshou was glorious and he decided this was the day to do it. The plan initially didn’t pan out but as the sun was setting on the way back to the hotel he spotted the perfect place. He proposed amongst the lime stone mountains with the sun setting and it was perfect! and our driver for the day even managed to snap some pictures of it. We ended in Shanghai where Josh had organised a celebration meal one of Shanghai’s famous restaurants, ‘Mr & Mrs Bund. It could have not been more perfect!

Why Rudding Park?
Rudding Park captured us both when we went to visit. How grand it was, the staff and its surroundings. We could immediately visualise the day unfolding as we were shown round. It gave us both butterfly’s.

What experience do you hope your guests have on the big day?
We hope they can relax and enjoy the day. We want them to feel special. The day is as much about our guests as it is about us.
