“Berkeley castle is stunning! We fell in love with it at first sight. We never considered anything other than a castle to get married in actually. As a screenwriter, I have personally always been fascinated in History which this is steeped in. I’ve been writing a film which heavily involved the Stuart dynasty which we later found out, they had a big part in this castle and the Berkeley family that live here. I’ve also always dreamt of the ‘dream wedding’ and a castle has always been on the top of my list, luckily we’re on the same page! We later found out that the castle was built to repel the Welsh!!! …. Osian was not impressed”
